Brownstone Exploration & Discovery Park offers day passes as well as season passes providing an excellent value. There are two levels of admission – the General Swimming and the Adventure Sports pass. When you purchase the Adventure Sports pass, it includes everything included with the General Swimming pass.

Daily admission and season passes for Portland, Conn. residents are half price. Proof of residency required. This discount can not be combined with any other offer.

General Information

Ensure that you review the full list of Park Rules, but here are the basics.

  • Everyone must register at the main gate and complete a liability release.
  • Kids under 3 are free.
  • All swimmers must wear a life jacket or a wetsuit that provides positive buoyancy.
  • Complimentary life jackets are available for all guests – no rental fee for life jackets.
  • Scuba divers not accompanied by an instructor must present a valid certification card from a recognized agency to dive.
