Brownstone Exploration & Discovery Park offers two levels of admission – the General Swimming and the Adventure Sports pass. When you purchase the Adventure Sports pass, it includes everything included with the General Swimming pass.

Brownstone Park accepts MasterCard, Visa, or cash for payments. Save time at check in by purchasing your day pass online and complete the liability release waiver in advance of arriving at the park. Check out our list of frequently asked questions for additional details about the park.

*Equipment and watercraft rentals not included in except where mentioned. (Rental prices) During the 2012 season, Brownstone Park is providing harnesses and helmets for climbers – or bring your own. Complimentary life jackets are available. Daily admission for Portland, Conn. residents is half price. Proof of residency required. This discount can not be combined with any other offer.

Challenge Courses

Challenge courses are available for groups of four or more. A team of four makes up one team, so if you want to have your own challenge event, you’ll need eight people; two groups of four.

The team building challenge courses include up to five challenges, and there is a $10 fee per person in addition to the cost of the Adventure Sports or Wakeboard Adventure Sports pass.

General Information

Ensure that you review the full list of Park Rules, but here are the basics.

• Everyone must register at the main gate and complete the liability release waiver.
• Kids under 3 are free.
• All swimmers must wear a life jacket or a wetsuit that provides positive buoyancy.
• Complimentary life jackets are available for all guests – no rental fee for life jackets.
• Scuba divers not accompanied by an instructor must present a valid certification card from a recognized agency to dive.
