Mountain Bike
Mountain bike riding is available at Brownstone Park. There is no fee to access the trails that are located along the Connecticut River just to the north of the main entrance of the park.
There is 40-plus acres of land for mountain bikes and there are no motorized vehicles allows. Bikers do share the area with hikers and hikers always have the right of way.
The campground is located just south of the trails and a future public boat launch, a project being developed by the state Department of Environmental Protection and Portland town officials.
Free parking is available.
The red area indicates the trail and the green area is the campground.
