Hike
Hiking is available at Brownstone Park. There is no fee to access the trails that are located along the Connecticut River just to the north of the main entrance of the park.
There is 40-plus acres of land for hikers and mountain bikes, and there are no motorized vehicles allows. Bikers do share the area with hikers and hikers always have the right of way.
The campground is located just south of this area and near the future public boat launch, a project being developed by the state Department of Environmental Protection and Portland town officials.
Free parking is available. The trails are within the red area and the green area indicates the campground.
