Park Rules
General Rules
- Everyone entering park must sign the liability release. Anyone under 18 must have waiver signed by parent/guardian. The liability release is good for the calendar year - you only need to fill it out one time per year.
- An adult must accompany all children under 13 years of age.
- Parents picking up kids must wait outside the gate of the park.
- Yearly membership pass or a day pass is required to enter the park.
- Life jackets or wetsuits must be worn at all times while on docks or in the water. All life jackets must be U.S. Coast Guard approved and be in good condition.
- This is a high-paced adventure park in a deep-water quarry. Please remove all jewelry and watches as you may loose them while enjoying our activities. We can not be responsible for lost valuables. Finding small items underwater is close to impossible.
- Smoking, glass and alcohol are prohibited. Persons suspected to be under the influence of alcohol/drugs will be refused admittance.
- Lifeguards or staff reserve the right to close any park area or restrict its use whenever the safety or health of patrons is endangered.
- Do not speak to or distract lifeguards. Direct questions to other staff members unless in case of emergency.
- Lifeguards are on duty in designated swimming areas only. All participates affirm and acknowledge the inherent hazards and risks associated with snorkeling and/or swimming.
- Animals are not permitted in the park, except the campground. Guide dogs for the blind will be admitted, but shall not enter the water and must be leashed.
- Bicycles, scooters, skateboards must be parked outside of park at the owners risk.
- Cliff jumping is a popular activity for kids, but there are some jump-points that are restricted to jumpers who are over the age of 18.
- Fishing is not permitted at the quarry.
- All season passes expire on Dec. 31.
Additional Swimming Area Rules
- Diving or flipping into the water is not permitted.
- Swimming under docks or inflatable structures is not permitted.
- Large inflatable in-water toys have specific rules that must be adhered to. Do not tread water near ladders, climbing areas, slides or launchers. Structures have limits concerning the number of people on the toy at any given time. Follow the lifeguard instructions at all times.
Additional Scuba Diving Rules
- Proof of certification by a nationally recognized agency is required at at check-in unless participating in a class and under the supervision of a certified, insured instructor.
- When participating in a discover scuba experience at the park, additional liability releases and medical statements are required.
- Solo diving is not permitted.
- The use of spear guns is not permitted.
- Except for pre-scheduled night dives, all divers must be in the water no later than one hour prior to closing.
Additional Wakeboarding Rules
When sliders, kickers or water obstacles are installed…
- Helmets are required to hit sliders, kickers or water obstacles.
- Metal fins are not permitted on the sliders, kickers, or water obstacles. Plastic and fiberglass fins smaller than 1.5 inches may be used.
- Rental equipment may not be used on sliders, kickers or water obstacles.
Additional Campground Rules
- Register upon arrival. One family per site. A family consists of two adults and unmarried children under the age of eighteen. Five person limit per site. One car per site. Please have car pass clearly visible at all times.
- The speed limit on all roads is 5 MPH. All roads are one-way.
- Children must be at their own sites by 10 p.m. Parents are responsible for the actions of their children at all times. The cost of any damage must be paid by the parents. Children under 8 must be escorted by a parent to the restrooms.
- Unreasonable load noise levels or profane language will not be tolerated at any time. Quiet hours are between 10 p.m. and 8 a.m. All campers are expected to be considerate. All children and teenagers under the age of 21 must return to their sites by 10 p.m. All outside lights must be out by midnight. Any campers arriving after the start of quiet hours may be directed to the parking lot until morning to prevent any late set-up from disturbing those around you.
- Firewood may be purchased at the campsite office. Fires are only permitted in the fire rings provided at a reasonable level and must not be left unattended. All fire rings must be left in place. Fire crackers and sparklers are NOT allowed anywhere on the facility. No cutting of any of our trees.
- Absolutely no disorderly conduct, intoxication, firearms, illegal drugs, or fireworks will be tolerated. Offenders will be told to leave permanently.
- Campsites are not to be changed in any way. No cutting of trees, bushes, etc. No building of gardens or walls. Do not cut, deface, or anchor anything to any trees or shrubs. This includes hammocks, tarps and clotheslines. Only trailer mounted clotheslines are permitted. State law prohibits grey and/or black water or wastes on the ground. We do not guarantee specific site numbers.
- No bike riding after dark. The use of helmets is required for all cyclists under the age of 18. There is no riding inside the adventure park or in an unsafe manner. No skateboards or roller blades may be used on the premises. Obey the speed limit.
- Place all garbage in dumpsters. No bulk items.
- Because of the severity of the current, there is no swimming allowed in the Connecticut River.
- All guest vehicles must park in the parking area only. Day visitors must leave by 10 p.m, and return guest pass to the office to receive return of security deposit. Visitors remaining after this time will be charged the overnight visitor fee in addition to any guest fees already paid. An adult presence (21 and over) at campsite is required for any guests to be present. Children and teenagers may not be left within the park without an adult present.
- No washing of cars, boats, or trailers.
- All pets must be on a leash at all times. You are responsible for cleaning up after your pet. Keep your pets off others sites. Pets are not allowed in the adventure park or around the playground, or riverfront area. Do not leave your pet unattended. Do not allow your pet to be a disturbance to other campers.
Disciplinary Policy
- First offense – Warning from lifeguard and/or park staff;
- Second offense – Sitting out of area 15 minutes;
- Third offense – Ejection from the park.
Serious offenses may result in immediate and permanent suspension of park privileges for the remainder of the season for any individual who is in violation of the rules.
